The Outpost has 44 rustic rooms situated on 4.5 acres along a tranquil stretch of the Guadalupe River. There’s a clubhouse with a pool for the kids and an on-site tube rental for the hot, sunny days of summer. Swim and tube down the lazy river bend to your room or just hang out on the banks of the Guadalupe under ancient native pecan trees and soak in the atmosphere. The Gruene Outpost River Lodge is available for your pleasure.

All of our rooms sleep at least 4 people, 27 of them have full kitchens, a table, and a couple of chairs. We are less than a mile away from the historic village of Gruene. Shopping, restaurants, the oldest dance hall in the state hosting the most famous names in Texas music and the biggest restaurant in Texas are all a stone’s throw away.
